Unruly Teens Busted In Avon Lake
Cops dealt with three incidents, including four juveniles running from parents and officers, and an unruly party.

AVON LAKE, OH — Officers had a busy mid-November busting underage parties and tracking down runaway teenagers. In a four-day stretch officers had to track down two runaways that fled home and two runaways that fled cops.
The first incident took place Nov. 14 when a 13-year-old girl ran away from her mom. Panicked, the mother called police and asked for help finding the girl. Just as officers started their search for the runaway, the girl returned home.
Despite eventually returning home, the mother decided to pursue unruly juvenile charges against her daughter.

The second incident happened Nov. 15. A girl got into a war of words with her parents. Upset at how the argument went, the girl ran out of her house and hid.
Again, police were called to the scene to track the girl down. This time police found the girl before she returned home. The runaway was hiding out at her boyfriend's home. Cops busted here there.

Finally, on Nov. 17, police were called to Ashwood Drive for a party that had gotten rowdy. Officers found a party of mostly underage drinkers. Two of the attendees took off, trying to avoid getting busted by Avon Lake cops.
Police were able to find the runners nearby shortly after breaking up the party. The homeowner was made aware of the party and the runners were turned over to their parents after getting written up.
