1. Mark your calendars Avon Lake residents! According to an Avon Lake City Schools Facebook post, "A Community Forum to discuss the proposed Avon Lake City Schools facilities project will be held on Thursday, Nov. 10, at 6:30 p.m. in the Commons at Avon Lake High School, 175 Avon Belden Road. 2. The Avon Lake Police Department is extremely grateful to DEI (Design Engineering Incorporated). According to a Avon Lake Police Department Facebook post, DEI is an outstanding member of the Avon Lake Community. It hosted a fundraiser for K9 Officer Lex and his handler, Officer Blankenship. The funds raised allowed DEI to purchase everything on a list for K9 Officers Lex including some very important safety gear." (Avon Lake Police Department via Facebook)
