Vandal Breaks Window At Avon Lake Home

AVON LAKE, OH — A few days before Thanksgiving, someone shattered a patio window on a woman's Avon Lake home.

On Nov. 24, in the late morning, police were called to a home on Ambleside Drive. The homeowner said that two days earlier, she heard a loud bang and glass shattering at her home. She searched the house but couldn't find any broken windows.

The next day, a friend visited the homeowner and said the front patio window had been broken. There was also damage done to the lower siding under the windows, police said.

Surveillance footage shows an unidentified vehicle going south on Ambleside at 2:30 a.m., with no headlights on.
