Veterans Day is Nov. 11 and a handful of institutions will be closed for the holiday.
AVON and AVON LAKE, OH - Veterans Day is Nov. 11 and a handful of institutions will be closed for the holiday. We've compiled a short list of the institutions that may impact your Friday.
- Post Offices - Closed. That also means that mail delivery will be delayed a day.
- Avon and Avon Lake Libraries - Open with regular hours
- Banks - Most banks will be closed
- Schools - Cleveland State University and Cuyahoga Community College are closed. Avon and Avon Lake Schools are in session
- City Offices - Avon and Avon Lake city halls will be open
- Garbage - Will be collected as usual
