SOLON, OH — Over the past week, police have found marijuana and Hydrocodone pills during drug arrests. In one case, officers recovered 48.4 grams of marijuana and a digital scale, police said.

On October 5, police ran a registration check on a car on Davis Industrial Parkway. The owner did not have a valid driver's license, so the car was pulled over. When officers walked toward the vehicle, they noticed a strong odor of marijuana.

Police searched the car and found a small amount of marijuana. There were also Hydrocodone pills, which were not prescribed to the driver. The driver, a 23-year-old from Bedford Heights, was arrested and charged with felony drug abuse and driving without a license.
