Week 7 High School Football Rankings: Where is Avon Lake?

AVON LAKE, OH - Despite beating Amherst Steel 35-14, Avon Lake took a tumble in the most recent OHSAA polls. The Shoremen fell from the fourth spot to sixth.

Avon High School continues its stranglehold on the top spot of OHSAA's Division II, Region II rankings. The team moved to 6 and 0 after it blew out Lakewood on Friday, winning 42-6.

Avon Lake is back in action on Friday when they play Berea-Midpark.

The weekly computer ratings are released every Tuesday afternoon beginning after the fourth week of the season, leading up to the final report on Sunday morning, Oct. 30. The full region 1 rankings are below:
