Week 8 High School Football Rankings: Where is Avon?

AVON, OH - The Eagles continue to observe the rest of OHSAA's Division II, Region 6 teams from the top of the perch. The Avon football team is still undefeated after demolishing North Ridgeville by a score of 49-20. The team will be back in action on Friday taking on Amherst Steele.

The top 12 saw some maneuvering among its top teams. Holland Springfield, still undefeated, dropped from the second spot to the third, swapping spots with Grafton Midview. Avon Lake also moved into the top five after Olmsted Falls lost its second game of the season.

The weekly computer ratings are released every Tuesday afternoon beginning after the fourth week of the season, leading up to the final report on Sunday morning, Oct. 30. The top 12 teams in Division II, Region 6 are below:
