Window Shot Out Of Avon Lake Car: Police Blotter

A 51-year-old man told police his back window on his car was shot out while he was sitting at a stop sign.

AVON LAKE, OH — The back window of a 51-year-old man's car was shot out on April 5. At least, that's what the man told police. Officers were unable to find any evidence of a shooting at the scene.

The man was sitting at a stop sign near Moorewood and Canterbury roads at about 10:30 p.m. While sitting at the sign, someone supposedly shot out the man's back window. When police arrived at the scene, though, they were unable to find any evidence of a projectile. Avon Lake Police said they have no suspects in the case at this time.
