Woman Overdoses In Avon Lake Home: Police
Police said the woman was taken to the Cleveland Clinic after her overdose. Two children found in her home were turned over to grandparents.
AVON LAKE, OH — Police suspect a 22-year-old woman overdosed on Dec. 28, according to Avon Lake police records. Two children were found inside the woman's home, records said.
At 9 p.m. on Dec. 28, a caller reported that a 22-year-old woman was overdosing in a home in Avon Lake. The caller had a restraining order which barred him from being near the woman, so he ran off before police arrived at the house.
When police arrived, they found the woman inside the home. Avon Lake firefighters took the woman to the Cleveland Clinic.

Officers found two juveniles inside the home. The children were turned over to their grandparents, who also lived in the house.
Police records said officers were still investigating the incident.
