Young Love Leads To Call to the Police

Police were notified of a male in dark clothing entering a Somerset residence.  The male turned out to be a boyfriend sneaking into his girlfriend’s house.

It came to this?

A Landings resident called the police to complain his mother had not sent his clothing to him in Florida. Police spoke with the mother who said the package was ready to go and she would send it.

It’s all about the bad weather

Snow was involved in numerous calls placed to the police department  on Jan. 13, when significant snow fell in Cleveland.  The service department notified police a vehicle near Smuggler’s Cove was preventing a snow plow from clearing the roadway Jan. 13. Several vehicles slid off roadways including one that struck a mailbox on Lake Road and car that slid into CEI’s fence.  A woman on Lake reported a truck spun out and was stuck in her front yard.

On Jan. 13 a juvenile male in a red snowsuit was reportedly throwing rocks at passing cars near Walker and Bridgeside roads. At 5:30 p.m., police received a call of a wheelchair stuck in the snow in the middle of Walker Road.
