• Barberton marks 9/11 anniversary (thebarbertongazette.com) — Barberton firefighters and community members gathered at Station No. 1 to mark the 24th anniversary of 9/11 and honor local firefighters who died in the line of duty. The ceremony retired a long‑flown Flag of Heroes, remembered historic Barberton fire tragedies, and closed with a solemn bell toll and wreath‑laying.
