12 Shoplifters Busted By Christmas Eve In Beachwood

BEACHWOOD, OH — On the 12th day of Christmas, Beachwood Police got 12 shoplifters, all caught at or near Beachwood Place Mall. Officers caught suspects as they tried to steal thousands in merchandise from Dillard's and other mall stores.

Police also broke up fights and other disturbances at the mall in the weekend leading into Christmas on Monday. Read about all of the incidents at the mall below.

Shoplifting, Dec. 22 — A woman was arrested for stealing $145 of merchandise from Dillard's, 26500 Cedar Rd.

Disturbance, Dec. 22 — Two teenage boys got into a fight in the parking lot of Beachwood Place Mall on Friday. One of the fighters was located and banned from mall property.

Shoplifting, Dec. 22 — A woman was arrested for shoplifting nearly $500 of merchandise from Pink at Beachwood Place Mall. The woman was also charged with receiving stolen property and possession of criminal tools.

Shoplifting, Dec. 22 — Two juveniles were arrested for shoplifting nearly $700 of merchandise from Dillard's and $450 of merchandise from Saks Fifth Avenue.

Disorderly Conduct, Dec. 22 — Police arrested a man for disorderly conduct at Beachwood Place Mall.

Shoplifting, Dec. 22 —Two women were arrested for shoplifting from Dillard's. The women resisted arrest but were subdued. Police then searched the women's car and found stolen property, marijuana and an open container of alcohol. The vehicle was towed.

Shoplifting, Dec. 23 — A man and woman were arrested for shoplifting from Sephora at Beachwood Place Mall. Police did not say how much the merchandise the couple were stealing was worth. The couple are being charged with shoplifting, receiving stolen property and possession of criminal tools.

Shoplifting, Dec. 23 — Police arrested a juvenile girl for shoplifting $708 of merchandise from Dillard's.

Shoplifting, Dec. 23 — Two men were busted shoplifting $173 of merchandise from Dillard's.

Disorderly Conduct, Dec. 23 — A man started a physical confrontation at the mall and got himself arrested for disorderly conduct.

Shoplifting, Dec. 24 — Police arrested a woman for stealing $144.50 of merchandise from Dillard's.
