5 Marijuana Incidents In Beachwood This Week
Police had a busy week busting people with weed.

BEACHWOOD, OH — It's been a green week in Beachwood so far. Police have dealt with at least five incidents involving marijuana, including four possession of marijuana charges.

Possession of Marijuana, Nov. 13 — Police stopped a car for having tinted windows as it was pulling out of Beachwood Place Mall, 26300 Cedar Rd. The driver had a small plastic bag of marijuana in their car. They were cited for tinted windows and marijuana possession.

Possession of Marijuana, Nov. 13 — During a traffic stop for expired license plates on Harvard Rd., police determined the driver, a man, was wanted for trafficking dangerous drugs. The man was taken into custody. He was also found in possession of marijuana.
Breaking and Entering, Nov. 13 — Tools and copper were stolen from a construction site at 3777 Richmond Road.

Possession of Marijuana, Nov. 14 — A pair of juveniles were found outside Chelm Properties on Tuesday night, breaking curfew. One of the juveniles was cited for possession of marijuana, breaking curfew and obstructing official business. The other juvenile was released to a guardian at the scene.
Suspicion, Nov. 14 — Suspected marijuana was found in an item donated to the Beachwood Adult Activities Center.
Receiving Stolen Property, Nov. 14 — Officers stopped a vehicle with stolen license plates as it drove down Richmond Road. The driver was arrested for receiving stolen property (the plates) and for driving with a suspended license.
Possession of Marijuana, Nov. 14 — Security at Beachwood Place Mall contacted police after a vehicle in the parking lot started emanating a smell of burnt marijuana. The owner of the car was cited for possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Improper License Plates, Nov. 15 — A vehicle abandoned on I-271 South had fake license plates and was towed from the scene.
License Suspension, Nov. 15 — Police arrested a man after he was involved in a car accident on Cedar Rd. The man had a suspended license.
Robbery, Nov. 16 — A man attempted to rob Dillard's at Beachwood Place Mall. He tried to get away with about $105 of merchandise. The suspect was arrested by police.
