Agnon Receives $25,000 Grant

School selected from 141 applicants for innovation in Jewish education

is one of 25 schools to be awarded $25,000 for innovation from the Partnership for Excellence in Jewish Education.

More than 140 schools applied for the grant, which sought to reward schools for innovation and impact. Agnon's application described how the school would grow its endowment, and PEJE will disseminate the model to other Jewish day schools.

“We are honored and delighted to be the recipients of this Challenge Award. Above all we are extremely pleased to receive validation that this prestigious organization believes our plan to grow our endowment is solid and sound,” said Head of School Jerry Isaak-Shapiro in a press release.
