students heard drums from West Africa in celebration of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.
Sogbety Diomande, a West African native, performed drum music, dances and songs and taught the students about village life. The progam was sponsored by Young Audiences of Northeast Ohio.
Diomande has danced with the Ballet National de Cote d'Ivoire, the Kotchgna Dance Company and many U.S. troupes.
