The ambiance of Cedar Creek Grille evokes the classic American grill of the 1950s and 1960s. Among the gracious appointments, diners will find cherry wood ceilings and wainscoting, old barn-wood and marble-mosaic floors, and a spectacular butcher-block bar made of reclaimed wood from a former Cleveland factory. The 160-seat dining room features white linens, leather booths, and a chef’s table. On Thursdays from 7 to 10 p.m., guests can kick back to the sounds of live music. Perfect for private parties and events, the restaurant also offers a covered, three-season terrace complete with wood-burning fireplace, marble-topped tables, French-style bistro chairs, soft seating, and its own well-stocked bar.
Under the direction of executive chef Robert Records, the Cedar Creek Grille kitchen creates simple, high-quality dishes sure to appeal to every palate. Lunch and dinner are served daily, with a brunch menu on Saturdays and Sundays until 3 p.m. In several weeks, the Grille will also debut a special bar menu featuring great deals on select food and drink. Our focus is on “from the grill” items that are fresh, local and organic. All dishes are made in-house and many feature products sourced from local farmers and suppliers. Wines and beers are primarily American with an emphasis on boutique producers, unique vintners and regional craft brewers.

The design and ambiance of Cedar Creek Grille are the creations of several highly skilled professionals. Most notably, that includes architect David Meleca (Meleca Architecture), designer Wendy Berry (W Design) and contractor Tim Oberschlake. Together, these pros have designed and built dozens of white-tablecloth restaurants in cities throughout the United States. Cedar Creek Grille’s unique and beautiful woodwork is the result of three equally unique northeast Ohio companies: Reclaimed Cleveland, M&N Amish Builders and Carter Lumber. On the walls, guests will find sepia photos of famous Cleveland landmarks by local photographer Michael Weil.
Cedar Creek Grille is at 2101 Richmond Rd., in Beachwood’s La Place.
