Armed Robbers Hit Warrensville Heights Bank

Two men armed with handguns robbed a US Bank on Thursday morning. Police want help finding the suspects.

WARRENSVILLE HEIGHTS, OH — The US Bank on Richmond Road was robbed on Thursday morning. Police are looking for three suspects, two robbers and a presumed getaway driver.

The robbery took place at about 10:50 a.m. when two armed men came into the bank. One suspect carried a silver revolver, the other a black semi-automatic pistol. Both men were all black, with gloves and hooded sweatshirts pulled tight around their faces.

The robbers banged on the glass at the teller counter with their handguns. They then demanded the tellers hand over money in $50 and $100 denominations. The suspects got cash from multiple teller drawers, placed the money in a pouch on the front of their sweatshirts and then ran outside and got into a blue sedan.

Both suspects are black men. One suspect was described as being between 5 foot 8 and 5 foot 10. Both suspects are considered armed and dangerous, the FBI said.

Tips on the robbery can be provided to either the Cleveland Division of the FBI or the Warrensville Heights Police Department. Reward money is available for information leading to the successful identification and prosecution of the individuals responsible for this robbery. Tips can remain anonymous.
