Autistic Boy Attacks Man At Giant Eagle

BEACHWOOD, OH — Police dealt with a variety of incidents over the weekend, including an attack at a local Giant Eagle. Read on for more information on that incident and others from the weekend.

Body Found, June 30 - An adult male was found dead at the R H Myers Apartments.

License Plate Theft, June 30 - A woman reported that her rear license plate was missing from her car. She searched the area she was in but was unable to find the missing plate.

Shoplifting, June 30 - Two men were arrested for shoplifting $150 of merchandise from Dillard's, 26500 Cedar Rd.

Shoplifting, June 30 - Police busted a man for stealing four shirts from Dillard's on Friday. The shirts were valued at $179.50.

Burglary, June 30 - Callers reported seeing an unidentified man entering a garage on Halburton Road.

Automobiles Towed, July 1 - An abandoned car was towed from the parking lot of the Maltz Museum, 2929 Richmond Road.

Aggravated Menacing, July 2 - An Amhearst Circle resident reported that she received threats on her Instagram.

Animal Bites, July 2 - A juvenile female was bitten by a dog at Petco, 24001 Chagrin Blvd.

Disturbance, July 2 - An autistic boy attacked a stranger at Giant Eagle, 24601 Chagrin Blvd. The boy's father restrained him until police arrived and calmed the situation down.
