Beachwood Football Team Places Three Players on AP All-Ohio Team

Beachwood standouts junior Corey Jones, senior offensive lineman Max Schoen and senior running back Ari Sobel received special mention recognition on the 2011 Associated Press Division IV All-Ohio high school football team.

The three players were also on the first team of the 2011 Associated Press Northeast Lakes All-District Division IV football team.

Sobel, Schoen and Jones, who shared athlete honors with Nathan Gray of Wellington, led a company of seven players who received accolades.

Noah Mitchell, Alex Hohl, Howie Sobel and David Shapiro were all honorable mention selections for the All-District Team.

Beachwood finished 6-4 on the season.
