Beachwood To Get New Fire Station In 2018
The new station, set to be finished in the fall of 2018, is expected to minimize response times, according to the Fire Chief.

BEACHWOOD, OH -- Beachwood is set to get a new firehouse, a project that has been in the works for nine-and-a-half years, according to Cleveland Jewish News.
The new fire station will be at the corner of Park East Drive and Richmond Road. "We wanted to make sure we were doing everything correctly," Beachwood Fire Chief Patrick Kearns told Cleveland Jewish News.
His team needs it, and they looked at many fire stations around the country "and cherry-picked the best features." The station is designed to be 26,000 square feet.

"We are just looking forward to a world-class facility and having the ability to improve services. It’s all about reducing response times and keeping everyone safe and healthy," the Jewish News reported Kearns as saying.
The Chagrin Highlands area, which is growing, will benefit as the new station will be closer to that neighborhood.
