Beachwood Group Plans Hurricane Irma Relief
The Jewish Federation of Cleveland wants to help raise $30 million for reconstruction and aid.

BEACHWOOD, OH — For the second time in less than two weeks, the Jewish Federation of Cleveland is putting together relief efforts for hurricane victims. This time, the Federation is assembling aid for victims of Hurricane Irma in Florida.
The organization said it is still in the process of gathering information on the extent of the damage done in the area. However, it recognizes the immediate need for funds to provide shelter, food and other emergency supplies.
The Federation said in a statement that 100 percent of all donated funds will go toward Hurricane Irma relief. (To stay up to date on local stories, subscribe to the Patch Beachwood newsletter. As news breaks and the story develops, you will be the first to receive updates from Patch.)
