Beachwood High School Homecoming Tonight

Pre-game activities include Board of Education-sponsored tailgating, a bouncy house, air brush tattoos, and other games.

BEACHWOOD, OH - The high school's homecoming football game is tonight and the district is planning a series of activities for families and fans' to get into the Bison spirit. Beachwood is playing the Painesville Harvey High School Red Raiders.

Admission to the game is $6 for adults and free for Beachwood students. Pre-game activities include a tailgate sponsored by the Board of Education, bounce houses and games, air brush tattoos and more. The tailgate will feature hot dogs, hamburgers, and potato salad. Games will include jousting, an obstacle course, and basketball.

Fans are also asked to celebrate the 1989-1990 Beachwood Bison team that made it to the state playoffs, the first team in district history to do so. The district will also honor Arnie Finkie and Robert Jacobs, two members of the class of 1974, who lost their lives when lighting struck the football field on Sept. 8, 1970.

At halftime, the Alumni Band and Drill Team will shake off the dust and blast out some tunes.
