Beachwood Juveniles Caught Smoking Weed by Deville Apartments

The apartment complex is now considering evicting the parents of the juveniles.

BEACHWOOD, OH - Parents, be careful in monitoring your children. A trio of juveniles may get their parents evicted from a Beachwood apartment complex after the juveniles were caught smoking weed by management.

Juvenile Complaints, Jan. 30 - Management at the Deville Apartments South, 23305 Chagrin Blvd., caught three juveniles smoking weed on their property. Staff didn't actually find the marijuana but they could smell it coming off of the teenagers. The juveniles were turned over to their parents and management is mulling an eviction.

Licence Suspension, Jan. 30 - Emergency vehicles were called to I-271 for reports of a vehicle that crashed into the concrete barrier. The driver and passenger were taken to the hospital and the male driver was cited for losing control of the vehicle.

Fraud, Jan. 30 - An assisted living resident at the Beachwood Commons may have been the victim of a fraud scheme. Relatives reported the matter to police.

Damage, Jan. 30 - A parked car was damaged by a snowplow. Police say the parties involved decided to settle the issue among themselves.

Harassing, Jan. 31 - A male has been calling the Jewish Federation of Cleveland, 25701 Science Park Dr. The Federation said the man is also emailing them and the communications are annoying and harassing.

License Suspension, Feb. 1 - Police stopped a man for improperly display of his license plates. After speaking with him they realized the man had two active driving suspensions. The man was arrested for Driving Under Suspension.

License Suspension, Feb. 1 - A woman was stopped by police on Chagrin Boulevard after she was driving in and out of marked lanes. The woman was arrested after police discovered she was driving with a suspended license.

Suspicion, Feb. 1 - Chase Bank, 22801 Chagrin Blvd., was the recipient of some strange notes left by a female customer. An employee contacted the police about the notes.
