Beachwood Launches Window Decorating Project
Residents are being encouraged to celebrate spring or first-responders using their windows as canvasses.

BEACHWOOD, OH — Beachwood is hosting a window-decoration project to spread cheer during the new coronavirus, COVID-19, crisis. Residential windows will soon be filled with messages of support and love for first-responders and the onset of spring.
"A pretty window will bring a smile to the faces of all your neighbors as they walk by. It will also keep your kid(s) busy for at least 20 minutes. We all win," the city said on social media.
The only rule for the project is that residents must decorate their windows using materials already in their house. Shopping for more materials is strictly forbidden (city officials called it cheating).
