Beachwood Mall on Lockdown Monday Evening After Juvenile Disturbance
One juvenile arrested after 'loosely organized' social media effort.

(Originally posted on Dec. 27, 2016) BEACHWOOD, OH — A Beachwood Place mall closed early and was placed on lockdown the day after Christmas after juveniles caused a disturbance "loosely organized on social media" around 5:30 p.m., police told ABC5.
No one was injured, and police dispersed the crowd and removed them from the mall. Officers from several jurisdictions responded. One juvenile was arrested after he allegedly attempted to hit an officer who was corralling another disorderly person.
The incident was one of several similar disturbances around the country Monday.
