Beachwood Police Blotter: 4 Cars, 4 Missing Tires

BEACHWOOD, OH - There may be a serial tire thief, or thieves, roaming Beachwood, according to police reports from Sept. 22.

Four separate cars had a single wheel stolen from them on the evening of Sept. 22. Records indicate that the crimes started at 12:30 p.m. and concluded at 9 p.m.

The first incident took place at the Embassy Suites, 3775 Park East. At the hotel, two different cars were victimized, with the thief stealing one tire from each vehicle.

The second incident happened at Benihana, 23611 Chagrin Blvd. An employee of the restaurant left work and found that his 2014 Honda Odyssey had a single tire and rim missing.

The third incident took place at the Clarion Hotel, 26300 Chagrin Blvd. Yet again, a single wheel and rim was stolen from the car.

In total, four cars had a single wheel stolen from them.
