BEACHWOOD, OH - Beachwood Police broke up an argument between four men in the parking lot of Ahuja Hospital over the weekend. They ended up arresting one of the parties. Find out why by reading this weekend's police blotter.

Improper License Plates, March 10 - Police stopped a man driving with fake license plates on March 10, near I-271 South. The man also had a suspended license and an active warrant with the City of Cleveland, so he was taken into custody.

Suspicious Phone Call, March 10 - The manager of Next, a clothing store at 26300 Cedar Rd., received a strange phone call and reported the incident to police.

Warrant Served, March 10 - Police picked up a woman wanted in Shaker Heights Municipal Court for failure to appear from Cuyahoga County Jail.

Shoplifting, March 11 - An adult man was held on suspicion that he had stolen a suit from Dillards, 26500 Cedar Rd. No charges were ultimately filed, however the man was banned from visiting Dillards or Beachwood Place Mall.

Assist Rescue Squad, March 12 - Police helped transport a woman to Ahuja Hospital due to complications from her pregnancy.

Disturbance, March 12 - An argument in the parking lot of Ahuja Hospital, 3999 Richmond Rd., brought police to the scene. Officers deescalated the argument between four men and then arrested one of the parties for an active warrant with Warrensville Heights Police.

Shoplifting, March 12 - Some people don't learn. An adult woman was trespassing at Beachwood Place Mall and then proceeded to shoplift merchandise from Nordstroms, valued at $948.
