Beachwood Police Cite Drivers For Guns, Marijuana Possession
Officers stopped a man for failing to maintain his lane while driving and then found an improperly handled gun in his car.

BEACHWOOD, OH - Police enjoyed a fairly quiet weekend in Beachwood. They caught a wanted woman, stopped a man for improper handling of a firearm, and caught a man with some marijuana. Read on for more information on this weekend's past incidents.
Warrant Served, Feb. 17 - Police went to the BP Gas Station, 2481 SOM Center Rd., for a woman that was detained by Painesville Police. The woman had an active warrant out with Beachwood Police. The woman was taken into custody, without incident, and transported back to Beachwood jail.
OVI, Feb. 17 - A man was arrested for failing to driving in marked lanes. improper handling of a firearm, and OVI, after he had been stopped by Chagrin Boulevard.

Marijuana Possession, Feb. 18 - Police stopped a man near Green and Harvard roads for driving with a suspended license. He was also cited for possession of marijuana.
Shoplifting, Feb. 19 - Police arrested a female for shoplifting from the Pink store at Beachwood Place Mall. The woman tried to make off with a little more than $90 worth of merchandise.
