Beachwood Police Confiscate Stolen Handicap Parking Placard

A handicap parking placard reported missing with the BMV was found in a car at Beachwood Place Mall. Police took the placard back.

Warrant Served, March 3 - Beachwood Police took a woman into custody from Bedford Police. The woman is wanted in Shaker Heights Municipal Court for failure to appear for a theft charge.

Trespassing, March 3 - Police arrested a man for trespassing at Beachwood Place Mall, 26300 Cedar Rd. The man also had an active warrant with Parma Police.

Speeding, March 3 - A driver was arrested after they were stopped for driving 103 mph in a 60 mph zone on I-271 South.

Open Container, March 3 - Police arrested a man for operating a vehicle under the influence. The man had an open container of alcohol in his car.

Possession of Marijuana, March 3 - A driver was stopped near Chagrin Boulevard and Richmond Road for failing to obey a traffic device. Police found marijuana in the driver's car and cited the driver for possession of marijuana.

Psychiatric Situation, March 4 - A South Euclid woman swallowed 70 pills at her home on Saturday night. Beachwood Police helped rush the woman to Marymount Hospital for evaluation.

Suspicious Phone Calls, March 4 - A Beachwood resident reported that she was getting strange phone calls from someone she didn't know. She believed the phone calls were part of a scam and police told her not to return the calls.

Contraband, March 4 - Marijuana in a bag was found at the food court of Beachwood Place Mall, 26300 Cedar Rd.

Parking Violation, March 4 - A lost handicap placard was found in a car parked at Beachwood Place Mall. The placard had been reported missing with the BMV. Police confiscated the handicap placard from the owner of the car.
