Beachwood School Board to Consider $16K Track Repair

The will consider a resolution for $16,640 in repairs to the track at at tonight’s meeting.

The state of the athletic facilities has been brought up at past board meetings: students and parents complained that the track had holes and the soccer fields are not smooth.

Superintendent Rich Markwardt told Patch that the fields are overused, leaving not enough time for "rest."

The district recently conducted a study to determine the condition of the fields, the results of which Beachwood Patch has requested from the district.
