Bites Nearby: Wasabi Japanese Steak House

Flavorful, spicy and fun

The city of Beachwood has a multicultural aspect to the many restaurants within its city limits. Steak is no longer an exclusively American dish, but is served in new ways at the Wasabi Japanese Steak House. Wasabi, also known as Japanese horseradish, is a spicy and flavorful condiment most often paired with sushi. As the name implies, Wasabi  Steak House is your path to exploring flavorful Japanese cuisine.

Your journey starts as you enter the restaurant and walk across a glass bridge overlooking a koi pond with a waterfall. From there you can see the dining area featuring contemporary décor and seating for more than 300 people.

The dining area is divided. On the hibachi side, there are 18 grills where a chief prepares food for you and your tablemates right in front of your eyes.

In another section there is a cozy and intimate dining area. There you will find cuisine from the sushi bar as well as your more traditional fare including steak, chicken and seafood.

Wasabi offers a combination platter including shrimp, chicken and steak for $26.  All combinations include soup, rice and salad.  You will also find Wasabi has a full complement of Japanese beers and sake starting around $5.

Lunch is served Monday-Friday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m..
