19th Annual Cleveland Magazine Silver Spoon Awards Party Celebrates
the Finest Cuisine and Wine during National Arthritis Month
CLEVELAND –The 19th Annual Cleveland
Magazine Silver Spoon Awards Party is Wednesday, May 15 from 6 to 9
p.m. at the InterContinental Hotel Cleveland. Presented by The Huntington
National Bank, the Cleveland
Magazine Silver Spoon Awards Party is Cleveland’s premier strolling
food and wine-tasting event.
In the largest showing in the event’s history, more than 40 of Northeastern Ohio’s best restaurants and domestic and international wineries will provide a
fabulous dinner party for more than 1,000 guests, all benefiting the Arthritis
Foundation, Great Lakes Region, Northeastern Ohio. May is National Arthritis
Month.
Holders of VIP Lounge tickets will be treated to a private party from 6 to 10 p.m. where they will enjoy delicious exclusive fare from celebrity chefs Ben Bebenroth
from Spice Kitchen + Bar and Chris Hodgson from Hodge’s Cleveland. To enhance the VIP experience, the lounge will also offer a special drink menu featuring specialty cocktails from Brown-Forman and Watershed Distillery, a special viewing of photography from The Eric Mull Gallery and live entertainment all evening long. VIP Lounge sponsor is Cleveland Clinic Orthopaedic &
Rheumatologic Institute.

The event is expected to raise more than $128,000 in support of local Arthritis Foundation programs, services and research. Nearly 1.3 million people of all ages in Northeastern Ohio have been diagnosed with arthritis.
Dr. Lee S. Shepard will be honored with the Arthritis Foundation’s Distinguished Service Award for his dedication to the annual Silver Spoon Awards Party. The VIP Honorary Chairman is Dr. Joseph P. Iannotti of the Cleveland Clinic Orthopaedic & Rheumatologic Institute. Event Co-chairs are Lisa Pianecki and Kristen Saada. Guests will also enjoy a fabulous silent auction featuring incredible
items such as a pair of tickets to a filming of The Chew television show in New York City; a stay at a luxury villa in Manzanillo, Mexico, for eight; accommodations at a Tuscan villa; local culinary experiences; gift certificates and much more.
General admission tickets are $85 in advance, $100 at the door. VIP Lounge
tickets, which include general admission, are $135 in advance, $150 at the
