Break-In At Beachwood Office, $1,200 In Property Stolen
Police said the suspect damaged a door to gain access to the building.

BEACHWOOD, OH — Someone broke into the Center for Diagnostic & Cosmetic Dermatology on Tuesday evening. The suspect damaged a door to the business, got inside and stole about $1,200 of property, police said.
An office at the same building as dermatology center was also broken into. Someone rifled through the occupant's desk. Records indicate that police have not yet identified a suspect in the case. Beachwood Police Chief Gary Haba told Patch there have been no updates in the case.

OVI, August 19 — After committing multiple lane violations, a car was stopped on Chagrin Boulevard on Monday. Police said the driver was arrested for operating a vehicle impaired.
Lost Property, August 19 — A woman lost her cell phone at Beachwood Place Mall.

Lights, August 20 — Police arrested a man on Tuesday morning, just after midnight, after he was seen driving a car without lights on. The man had two fake drivers licenses in his possession, police said.
OVI, August 20 — At about 2:30 a.m. Tuesday morning, police stopped a car after they saw it speeding past red lights and drifting out of its lane. The driver had multiple open containers of alcohol in his car, but refused to take a breath test. He was arrested and taken to Beachwood Jail.
Shoplifting, August 20 — About $194 was shoplifted from Dillard's by a juvenile, police said. The juvenile was tracked down and arrested.
Grand Theft Vehicle, August 21 — A car was stolen out of a driveway on Lyndway Road, police said. A check in another vehicle parked at the house was stolen as well.
