Burglar Kicks In Beachwood Door, Steals Tech
Someone bashed their way through the front door of a local home and stole an iPad, according to police reports.

BEACHWOOD, OH — A burglar kicked in the door of a Green Road home on Monday, stealing an iPad after they got into the house. A similar incident occurred at a Halburton Road home that same day, with someone reportedly trying to break into the house.

Possession of Criminal Tools, Nov. 27 — Police arrested a man for shoplifting merchandise from Marshall's, 24065 Chagrin Blvd. The man was found with nearly $73 of merchandise. Officers also found criminal tools and drug paraphernalia in the man's possession.
Attempted Burglary, Nov. 27 — Someone damaged the front door of a Halburton Road home. The resident believes someone was trying to break into their home.

Burglary, Nov. 27 — Another burglary was reported Monday, near the incident on Halburton. Someone kicked in the door on a Green Road home and stole an I-Pad.
Fire, Nov. 28 — Both Beachwood Police and Fire were called to Bob Evans, 3700 Orange Place, for a fire alarm. Firefighters forced their way into the restaurant and found a smoldering rag. The rag was extinguished.
Identity Theft, Nov. 28 — Someone stole a Beachwood woman's identity and used it in another state, police say.
Criminal Damage, Nov. 28 — Someone scratched the car of a Saks Fifth Avenue employee while she was at work.
Shoplifting, Nov. 28 — Police arrested a man for shoplifting from Dillard's, 26500 Cedar Rd. The man was trying to steal about $140 of merchandise.
Suspicion, Nov. 29 — The owner of Cleveland Yoga called police to report a suspicious man hanging around the business. The man was reportedly making staff feel uncomfortable.
Disturbance, Nov. 29 — A man was fired from his job at the Microsoft store at Beachwood Place Mall. He then made a disturbance in the store and police were called to calm things down.
Grand Theft Auto, Nov. 30 — A car was stolen out of the driveway of a Deborah Dr. home.
