Callers Help Cops Catch Erratic Driver In Beachwood
Police found marijuana in the suspect's car.

BEACHWOOD, OH — A Good Samaritan helped police catch an erratic driver on Friday night in Beachwood. A caller reported that there was a reckless car in the area of Richmond Road. When officers found the vehicle, they investigated and discovered marijuana inside the car.

Warrant Served, June 8 — A woman was arrested in the parking lot of Sam's Club in Oakwood Village on a warrant out of Shaker Heights Municipal Court.

Warrant Served, June 8 — A man was arrested on an active warrant and turned over to Lyndhurst Police.
Car Fire, June 8 — The fire department had to put out a car on fire on Mercantile Road. The fire started due to a mechanical issue, according to police. Crews managed to extinguish the flames.

Suspicion, June 8 — A woman was banned from Aldo Shoes at Beachwood Place Mall for suspicious behavior.
Marijuana Possession, June 8 — Callers reported an erratic driver on Richmond Road at about 10:30 p.m. Police caught up to the suspect vehicle and investigated the driver. The driver was arrested for marijuana possession, drug paraphernalia possession and operating a vehicle impaired.
Lost Property, June 9 — A woman came into the Beachwood Police Department to report that she had lost her cell phone, debit card and driver's license in the city.
Open Container, June 9 — Police arrested a man for carrying an open container near Maggiano's.
