Car Stolen from Beachwood Gas Station

The driver left the car running and unlocked and went into the gas station store.

BEACHWOOD, OH - Never leave a running car unattended. A patron of a Beachwood gas station learned that lesson that hard way this week when her car was driven off while she was shopping in the station store.

Theft from Building, Feb. 6 - An employee at Moxie Restaurant reported that her cell phone was stolen. She only wanted the incident documented.

Warrant Served, Feb. 6 - Police arrested a woman on I-271 South for an outstanding warrant in Lakewood Municipal Court.

Identity Theft, Feb. 6 - An elderly resident reported to police that someone attempted to open PayPal credit account using her personal information. The suspect attempted to charge $1,000 to the account, but the card was declined.

Expired License Plates, Feb. 6 - Police stopped a woman for driving with license plates that had expired in 2014. The woman had an outstanding warrant from South Euclid Police and was arrested.

Grand Theft Vehicle, Feb. 7 - The True North Shell Gas Station, 26100 Chagrin Blvd., was the site of a car theft. A patron got out of their car but left it running, unlocked, and unattended. The car was taken before police arrived.

Disturbance, Feb. 8 - A patient at the Montefiore Home, 27080 Cedar Rd., was removed for causing a disturbance.

Assist Rescue Squad, Feb. 8 - Reports came in of a woman passed out on a lawn on Green Road. Police located the woman and she was transported to Ahuja Medical Center.
