Car Stolen From Beachwood Resident

The car was stolen on Sunday and recovered later in the night by Cleveland Police.

BEACHWOOD, OH — A Beachwood resident had their car stolen on Sunday. The vehicle was only missing for a short while, with Cleveland Police locating the vehicle later in the day. Read on for more information on that incident.

License Suspension, Sept. 22 — Officers arrested a woman for driving with a suspended license on Fairmount Boulevard. The woman had an outstanding warrant with the Cleveland Metroparks Rangers.

Possession of Marijuana, Sept. 22 — Police arrested a man for operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drug. The man had a prior conviction for OVI and refused to take a test. The man also had marijuana, drug paraphernalia, and marked lane violations.

Found Property, Sept. 22 — A wallet was found in the parking lot of Commerce Park 4, 23240 Chagrin Blvd.

Shoplifting, Sept. 22 — A woman was arrested for shoplifting from Dillard's, 26500 Cedar Rd. The woman was trying to steal $324.99 of merchandise.

Shoplifting, Sept. 22 — Two juveniles were arrested for shoplifting from Sephora at Beachwood Place Mall, 26300 Cedar Rd. The two were trying to steal $500 of merchandise.

Expired License Plates, Sept. 23 — Police stopped a woman on Green Road for driving with expired license plates. The woman had an arrest warrant from Euclid Police and was taken into custody.

Grand Theft Auto, Sept. 24 — A Halcyon Road resident reported that their car was stolen out of their driveway. The vehicle was recovered later that night by Cleveland Police.

Suspicion, Sept. 24 — Three bicycles were left on a Hilltop Drive man's residence.

OVI, Sept. 24 — Police stopped a woman for driving 62 mph in a 35 mph zone. The woman had red wine spilled on her clothes. She was arrested for operating a vehicle while under the influence.
