Car Stolen from Crestmont Cadillac: Beachwood Police Blotter
The thief was later arrested. That and other incident in this week's police blotter.

BEACHWOOD, OH - There are a lot of places to steal a car from. One of them, it would appear, is Crestmont Cadillac. Fair warning to potential car thieves though: You're probably going to get arrested. One man found that out the hard way when Beachwood Police busted him in a stolen car.
Suspicion, Dec. 5 - A customer at Hertz Rent a Car, 3663 Park East, found a collection of ID and credit cards in the steering column of their car.
Simple Assault, Dec. 5 - A man punched another man at the Beachwood Adult Activities Center, 23750 Mercantile Road.

Fraud, Dec. 5 - A woman reported that her wallet fell out of her car on the exit ramp to Chagrin Boulevard. She said that two of the credit cards were then used in the city of Cleveland by an unknown person.
Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle, Dec. 5 - A resident reported that her friend took her car without getting permission to use it.

Drug Abuse, Dec. 6 - Beachwood police stopped a man on I-271 near South Woodland for speeding. They found he was in possession of marijuana and marijuana paraphernalia.
Shoplifting, Dec. 7 - Three juvenile girls were arrested at Beachwood Place Mall for shoplifting, criminal damaging and receiving stolen property. Police say the value of the stolen merchandise is $613.70.
Theft of Motor Vehicle, Dec. 7 - Police arrested a man after he stole a car from Crestmont Cadillac, 26000 Chagrin Boulevard.
