Charity Collection Stolen At Beachwood Business
In the midst of one of America's toughest stretch of calamities, someone decided to steal nearly $700 raised for charity.

BEACHWOOD, OH — Hurricane Harvey and Hurricane Irma have both highlighted the important roles charities play in both American society and recovery of that society. Recently, the folks in Cleveland Clinic Building 3 in Beachwood put together a collection to raise money for charities.
Unfortunately, someone stole the money the folks raised. Read on for more information on that incident and others from the past week in Beachwood. License Suspension, Sept. 11 — A driver told police she had been involved in a strange altercation with another motorist on Monday. A man got out of his car on Fairmount Blvd. and began yelling at the driver. Police tracked down the man and issued him a traffic citation.

Suspicion, Sept. 11 — Police were called to Beachwood Place Mall, 26300 Cedar Rd., for a reported theft. Officers investigated and determined that no theft had actually occurred, but a man was arrested on an outstanding warrant.
Theft from Building, Sept. 12 —Someone stole money from a collection created for charity, police said. The theft occurred between Sept. 8 and Sept. 12 at Cleveland Clinic Building 3, 3050 Science Park Dr. Approximately $695 was stolen from the collection.

Theft from Building, Sept. 12 — A juvenile was arrested for stealing $236 from a purse at Tremco, 3735 Green Rd.
Theft from Building, Sept. 13 — A resident at Stone Gardens Assisted Living reported that her diamond ring was stolen sometime between Sept. 8 and Sept. 10. The ring is valued at approximately $800.
