Church in the City Initiative To Be Revisited at John Carroll Event

Three mayors from Northeast Ohio communities will discuss the initiative and urban sprawl and how it impacts communities.

UNIVERSITY HEIGHTS, OH - Three mayors from local communities will discuss the effects of sprawl on their cities at an event on Feb. 9 called the "“Revisiting the ‘Church in the City’, the event begins at 7:30 p.m.

Mayor Susan Infeld, University Heights, Mayor Bradley Sellers, Warrensville Heights, Mayor Georgine Welo, South Euclid, will all participate in the panel. The event will be moderated by Len Calabrese, former director of the Commission on Catholic Community Action.

John Carroll University's DJ Lombardo Student Center will play host to the event. The mayors will discuss the moral, economic and social impact of sprawl on their communities and on Northeast Ohio as a whole.
