BEACHWOOD, OH — Beachwood Mayor Martin Horwitz will host a twice-weekly conference call with residents to discuss the impact of the new coronavirus locally. The calls will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 4 p.m.
Horwitz invited all residents to join the calls. Thirty households can be on the call. All spots will be awarded on a first-dial, first-served basis, the city said. The number to join the calls is 216-292-1481.
“I’ve received many calls and emails from people asking how COVID-19 will impact city services and suggesting steps the city can take to keep residents safer during the stay-at-home mandate,” Horwitz said. “I also hear from people who are nervous about information they’re hearing on TV or from their friends. I want to help provide some peace of mind during this period of great uncertainty.”
