CycleBar(R) Launches CycleNation Movement with 'Ride Your Heart Out' Event in Beachwood

Premier Indoor Cycling™ Franchise to Host Fundraising Rides in Collaboration with the American Heart/Stroke Association

On the heels of announcing the creation of CycleNation™, a nationwide fundraising initiative in collaboration with the American Heart Association/American Stroke Association, CycleBar® will officially launch the movement with a new Ride Your Heart Out event series. The premier indoor cycling franchise is planning three exclusive fundraising “pop-up” rides for each of its locations across the country.

The Beachwood CycleBar invites the local community to join the Ride Your Heart Out fundraiser at the Wade Oval in University Circle, located at 10820 East Blvd in Cleveland, on July 23 at 2PM. The $50 donation fee includes a reserved seat at the pop-up event, three free rides at the Beachwood CycleBar and a limited-edition Ride Your Heart Out tank top. All proceeds from the donations will directly benefit the American Heart Association. To sign up and reserve a bike seat, visit www.beachwood.cyclebar.com.

“The CycleNation pop-up rides give community members a unique opportunity for active philanthropy. It’s the perfect opportunity to not only donate to a great cause, but get in a high-energy workout experience that in turn promotes a healthy lifestyle,” said Joseph Purton, owner of CycleBar® Beachwood. “We’re thrilled to take our energetic community engagement to the next level by bringing the CycleBar experience to the Wade Oval in University Circle in an effort to promote heart health while raising money for an important organization.”

The late-July Ride Your Heart Out rides are the debut events of the CycleNation™ movement, which is planning additional events and pop-up rides later this year. CycleNation will kick off its American Beat Tour, a nationwide series of energizing, experiential events in October. The CycleNation American Beat Tour will host “city takeover events” to fundraise for the AHA/ASA. The takeover events will consist of an in-studio rally the night before pop-up fundraising rides, which will be held at strategic and meaningful microsites in each city. The events will educate the local communities about the importance of CycleBar and the AHA/ASA’s mission.

“Creating lasting a relationship with local communities is one of CycleBar’s chief goals as the brand continues to grow its footprint across the country. The CycleNation movement is a key element of our strategy to arm local franchise owners with the tools necessary to engage with local residents inside and outside of the studio,” said Heather Harris, president of CycleBar. “The synergy between CycleBar and the American Heart Association and the American Stroke Association creates a memorable impact for participants, and underscores the importance of cardiovascular health.”

CycleBar has a history of working together with the AHA/ASA to find energetic and entertaining ways to raise money for the national organization with its CycleGiving™ charitable efforts. This past August, they teamed up to host a “Rock the Bridge” cycling event on the People Purple Bridge in Cincinnati for the AHA/ASA. CycleBar is elated to be chosen as a national sponsor of the AHA/ASA’s CycleNation™ Movement to continue collaborating on high-energy fundraising events.
