Data Breach At Bruegger's Bagels Compromises Ohioans
Customers that visited Bruegger's between Aug. 28 and Dec. 3 should check their credit card security status.

Bruegger's Bagels customers may have had their data exposed during a security breach, the company announced this week. Guests that visited a Bruegger's between Aug. 28 and Dec. 3 should check their payment card and considering updating their security.
The company first became aware of the possible breach on Nov. 30, when its cybersecurity firm found unauthorized access to the Bruegger's point-of-sale systems. Catering sales, online purchases, and purchases made with a customer loyalty card were not impacted.
Customers that used a credit or debit card in-store may have had their name and credit card information exposed. Anyone that visited a Bruegger's in that time-span should check their card statements and look for unusual activity.
