Dog Park Being Considered In Beachwood

The proposed park would be at the corner of Richmond Road and Shaker Boulevard. Residents are invited to share their thoughts at a meeting.

BEACHWOOD, OH — The city of Beachwood is considering adding a dog park at the corner of Richmond Road and Shaker Boulevard. The public is invited to attend a public meeting on the park and share their thoughts on Wednesday.

The park is made possible by funding from the Federal Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), which is administered by Cuyahoga County through its Department of Development. While funds could be utilized for a variety of projects, Beachwood intends to use a dog park.

The public meeting will be held Wednesday at 7 p.m. at Beachwood City Hall Council Chambers. Everyone is invited to attend and voice their thoughts on the project, or submit opinions on the dog park.
