Dollar Bank Gets Facelift, New Drive-Thru Window

Planning and Zoning approves final plans for renovations

Dollar Bank in Beachwood is going through some renovations, including the addition of a new drive-thru window.

Representatives from Fahring, McCarty, Grey, Inc., Landscape Architects and Engineers presented a final pan to the Planning and Zoning Commission at Thursday’s meeting.

The bank bought the building late last year after searching for a Chagrin Boulevard branch for over 12 years, Crain's Cleveland Business News reported.

The plan includes a new drive-thru and a reconfigured parking lot — though no spaces will be lost — a night deposit box and an ATM. The entrance to the private banking area will be moved and the landscaping will be cleaned up and updated, and the curbing, lighting and sidewalks will be replaced.

Planning and Zoning voted unanimously to approve the plans.
