Driver Passes Out at Wheel on Zeiger Driver: Beachwood Police
Officers took the man to Ahuja Hospital. That and other incidents in this week's police blotter.

BEACHWOOD, OH - Police had a busy weekend. A man passed out behind the wheel of his car on Zeiger Drive and officers had to transport him to Ahuja Hospital. That didn't stop them from citing him for Driving Under Suspension. Police also dealt with shoplifters, open containers in cars, and a car that was damaged on I-271 because of debris flying off a dump truck.
Theft, Dec. 16 - A man had his wallet and keys stolen while he was at Park East Healthcare, 3800 Park East.
Shoplifting, Dec. 16 - Police arrested an adult male for shoplifting from Saks Fifth Avenue, 26100 Cedar Road. The man had snatched $415 worth of merchandise.

Unsecured Load, Dec. 16 - A driver on I-271 damaged their car when they drove over debris that fell off a dump truck. Police located and cited the driver of the truck for not properly securing his load.
Suspended License, Dec. 17 - Police stopped a woman for speeding near Green Road and Beachwood Boulevard. When officers spoke to the woman, they discovered that she was driving with a suspended license.

Warrant Served, Dec. 17 - Police apprehended a woman in Mayfield Village that is wanted for several outstanding warrants.
Theft, Dec. 17 - A man reported his cell phone stolen. He said he was shopping at Dillard's, 26500 Cedar Road, at the time of the theft. He could not identify a suspect. The phone is valued at about $700.
Open Container, Dec. 18 - Police arrested a driver on Richmond Road because they were swerving in and out of lanes. After speaking with the driver, officers found an open container in the car.
Suspended License, Dec. 18 - A man was passed out over the wheel of his car while on Zeiger Drive. Officers transported the man to Ahuja Hospital and cited the man for Driving Under Suspension.
