Drug User Takes "Too Many Drugs" Needs Beachwood Police's Help
The man called 911 and asked for help, before flagging down officers and saying he had taken "too many drugs."

BEACHWOOD, OH — A man who told police he took "too many drugs" needed help from officers on Thursday. He was found near a residence on East Groveland, when the man flagged down police and got them to rush him to a local hospital.

Theft from Building, Aug. 21 — A man's cell phone was stolen from him while he was at Beachwood Place Mall, 26500 Cedar Rd.

Suspicious Package, Aug. 21 — Someone sent a suspicious package to the Social Security Administration, 3591 Park East. The package was later confirmed to be a lunchbox sent to a landscaper working in the area.
Disturbance, Aug. 21 — A man was banned from the Microsoft Store at Beachwood Place Mall after he caused a loud ruckus because he was unhappy with his service.

Shoplifting, Aug. 21 — A juvenile was arrested at Dillard's at Beachwood Place Mall for theft of merchandise and receiving stolen property. The juvenile was found in possession of $67.48 of stolen goods.
License Plate Theft, Aug. 22 — The front license plate was stolen off a vehicle parked on Hilltop Drive.
Theft from Yards, Aug. 22 — City-issued garbage cans were stolen from the front yard of a Halcyon Road resident's house.
Theft-Credit Cards, Aug. 22 — A man's cash and credit cards were stolen from his locker at Lifetime Fitness, 3850 Richmond Rd.
License Suspension, Aug. 23 — Police stopped a vehicle driving on Green Road for driving with its high beams on. The driver had a suspended license and multiple warrants for his arrest. He was taken into custody by police.
Disturbance, Aug. 23 — Management fired an employee at Devore Technologies, 23240 Chagrin Blvd. Instead of quietly collecting their belongings, the employee went ballistic, creating a disturbance in the office. The woman fled before police arrived at the scene.
Drug Abuse, Aug. 24 — Police got a 911 call from East Groveland residents asking for help. When officers arrived they were flagged down by a man who said he had taken "a lot of drugs" and needed medical attention. He was rushed to a local hospital, while other officers did a welfare check on the other residents at the East Groveland home. Everyone else was fine.
