Drunk Driver Caught Driving On Wrong Side Of Road In Beachwood

Officers had a busy weekend in Beachwood.

BEACHWOOD, OH — During a busy, hectic weekend in Beachwood, police caught an apparently drunk driver that ignored her turn signal violation and drove on the wrong side of the road. The driver later took a breath test and blew a .17.

Warrant Served, Nov. 17 — Police went to Solon to pick up a man wanted on a Shaker Heights Municipal Court.

Open Container in a Public Place, Nov. 17 — Officers stopped a car on Bryden Road for a turn signal violation and driving on the wrong side of the road. The driver had an open container of alcohol in her car. She eventually blew a .17 on a breath test. She was arrested.

Annoying Phone Calls, Nov. 17 — A man called Park East Healthcare multiple times and demanded information on a former patient.

Shoplifting, Nov. 17 — A woman stole about $120 of merchandise from Sephora at Beachwood Place Mall, 26300 Cedar Rd.

Shoplifting, Nov. 17 — Two women were arrested for stealing merchandise from a Beachwood Place Mall store.

Marijuana Possession, Nov. 17 — Officers arrested two juveniles for shoplifting two items from Dillard's, 26500 Cedar Rd. The juveniles were also found in possession of marijuana.

Expired License Plates, Nov. 17 — A man was stopped near Crestmont Cadillac for driving with expired license plates. The man also had a suspended license. He was cited for both offense.

License Suspension, Nov. 18 — Police stopped a man for failing to obey a traffic device. The driver had a suspended license and was arrested.

Shoplifting, Nov. 18 — A woman was arrested for stealing $42 of merchandise from Sephora at Beachwood Place Mall.

Marijuana, Nov. 18 — Callers reported a suspicious vehicle on Halburton Rd. The vehicle belonged to a nearby homeowner, whose son was hanging out in the car. Marijuana was located at the property and was confiscated.

Disturbance, Nov. 18 — Tenants at the Aloft Hotel, 1010 Eaton Blvd., were kicked out for causing a disturbance.
