Energy Efficiency Forum Comes To Beachwood

The city will help local business owners learn to manage their energy bills during an August 3 session.

BEACHWOOD, OH — While 2018 is more than halfway gone, city officials believe they have a tactic to improve budgets for local business owners. City leaders want a renewed focus on energy management.

During a free session on August 3, the city will discuss energy costs, facility maintenance and long-term investments to improve efficiency of a commercial building. Representatives from COSE, Greenworks Lending, Better Together Solar and Sway Mobility will share their tips on how to generate energy savings.

"Although you think it’s not in your top 10 of priorities right now, energy management should be part of the budget and strategy. Making smart investments in your building can help you find hidden profits. To help you make that smart investment, please join us for a breakfast discussion to integrate an energy management strategy," the city said in a post on its website.
