Beachwood Arts Council is pleased to present their 17th Annual Juried High School Art Show at the Beachwood Community Center, 25225 Fairmount Blvd. The opening reception will be held on Sunday, February 5, 2012 from 2:00-4:30 p.m. with awards being announced at 3:00 p.m. Jurors are Grafton J. Nunes, President and Chief Operating Officer of the Cleveland Institute of Art, Steve Hartman, Owner, Contessa Gallery and George Kozmon, Artist and Festival Director of the Cain Park Art Festival.
With funds provided by Marcia Emsheimer, monetary awards will given for first, second and third place winners plus 5 honorable mentions. A small stipend will be given to students present (or their teachers) for participating. Twenty-one area schools will be represented and students, families, friends and community are invited to view the creative talents of these young people.The show will run through February 26, 2012.
Gallery Hours: Monday-Friday: 10:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. Saturday: 10:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. Sunday: 10:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m.
